Good afternoon. At 0600 hours yesterday morning, the Abkhaz forces under the command of the PNUP crossed the cease fire line and advanced into the Krasnodar Oblast. The 492nd had dropped the bridges east of Lazarevskoe, however this bought us only a matter of hours. Throughout the night, the Abkhaz continued their assault and have managed to take the port of Tuapse. The small blocking force of Russian Loyalist troops have fallen back to the northwest near Novomihaylovskiy and are conducting a fighting retreat toward Gelendhzik to link up with the NATO Fast Reaction Force. As if we didn't have enough problems, the Abkhaz Navy sailed outside of Gelendzhik and having been shelling the airbase and harbor for the past half hour. The F-15C and F-15E's from Gelendzhik are stuck in their hangars until the SAM frigate 'Grisha' can be disabled. Your task today is twofold: Firstly, A-10C and A-10A strike fighters will launch from Krymsk airbase at 1750 to engage and destroy Abkhaz naval targets outside of Gelendzhik harbor. Second, Hawg and Boar flights will strike Tuapse in an effort to destroy Abkhaz supply vehicles and deny them the harbor facilites for repair and resupply. This will buy the Russian Loyalists more time to reach Gelendzhik.

Air: The Abkhaz Air Force has taken a beating from the 493rd over the past two weeks. However, until the Grisha frigate is destroyed, the 493rd cannot offer CAP. Be alert for Abkhaz MiG's. Do not attempt to engage Abkhaz aircraft.
Waypoint 3 marks the estimated location of Grisha. The frigate is your primary target and is armed with SA-8 category SAMs. Engage from distance and egress immediately. Once the Grisha is sunk, the Molyina class corvettes are secondary targets. Feel free to land and rearm at Gelendzhik or Novossiysk.
Waypoint 5 marks the Tuapse dock. Your primary targets are any vessels within the port vicinity. Your secondary targets include the two dry docks and the oil and fuel facilities.
