Bon dia a totom
Well, I friend of mine gave me a piece of aluminium. I started a new switch-guard with this material.
So, the conclusion is that a thin can bottle don't is enough strong ans resisting for this use.
Aluminium is easy to work but you have to be carefully because it's soft and when you cut it with a saw and use a file, you go quickly after the marking you did in the aluminium.
Steel is stronger and resistant. It's heavier and harder to work. You spend more time doing the switch-guard but the saw and the file "bite" more efficasiously in the steel.
The switch-guard alone is made in aluminium.
Es un hobbi y magrada fe altres experiences.
