Logitech G940 - DCS A-10C Warthog - config files	v 1.2
------------------------------------------------

Inspired by Red Baron Layout, just a bit reworked

Original thread:

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=64820

Version changes:

Previous two versions - simply wrong :/ (removed and download link updated)
Fixed all shifted commands under MODE1 / MODE2
Everything triple-checked and exported again (used clean installation v 1.1.0.8)
Fixed a typo (printable layout) :o)

------------------------------------------------

(MODE2) is only for TRIM.

P1-P8 buttons do some extra stuffs (only in unshifted mode)

In general, all commands (shift commands included) remains the same as with MODE1 selected.

There should be connected only G940 Device and mapped as ID1, ID2 and ID3.
Just to be sure Logitech profiler XML file do the right job after importing.

Hope it will work for other beginers as a reference point to start with.

Instructions:
-------------

1. Under "Logitech Profiler" software click at > Profile > Import > and select "DCS-A10-C.xml"
Select a game patch. For example > "D:\DCS A-10C\bin\DCS.exe" or "D:\DCS A-10C\bin\x86\DCS.exe" regarding to your OS version.
(make sure your device is calibrated propertly)

2. Go to > Options > Global Profiler Settings > choose "Apply persistent profile > choose "DCS-A10-C"
In case profiler do not recognize game running, it will work anyway. Useful for first time to make sure it will work.

3. Click at > Options > Global Device Settings > configure FFB settings by attached screenshot.

4. Configure the same under > Edit > Specific Game Settings (not necessary)

5. Run DCS A10-C > Go to Options > Controls > make sure you have "A10C Sim" configuration selected.

6. Import keybard, joystick, pedals, throttle xml files under proper columns. (see detailed instructions if necessary)

7. Configure "Axis Tune" properities by attached screenshots.

8. Exit game, run game, go to options again and try click at all G940 buttons to check if everything works fine.

In case you wish to remap buttons, just change keystrokes under Logitech profiler and edit layout.jpg by your own preferences.

Be careful when switching between MODE1/MODE2 and SHIFT commands while configuring buttons by your own.
You can accidently overwrite UN-SHIFTED commands when switch from MODE1 to MODE2 and you are at SHIFTED commands etc.
Simply do every switch twice when SHIFTED commands are configured.

PS:

FFB settings are based on my individual preferences: It's a good point to start tweaking at least.

More or less "Spring effect Strenght" do the big differences > lack of (in-game) centering spring / constant heavy forces.

"Enable Centering Spring" checked (strenght at 0%) add a little bit of friction without adding centering spring.

You can uncheck this regarding to your preferences. Just a little bit different experience.

PS2:

Sorry for my bad English ;o)
